Cohen Time

My son has not been the poster child for growing infants.  For example, he hates sleep.  I think he'd rather be awake for 24 hours than have to go to sleep.  The kid is too curious of his surroundings and acts like a cage fighter when it comes to laying him down.  He rolled over at 3 weeks.  Freakish accident?  Nope, he has continued to be a rolly polly ever since.  But the kid does everything as we say on "Cohen Time."  When Cohen wants it to happen, it will happen.  So when Cohen decided a 3 hour nap sounded good on Monday, he took a 3 hour nap.  When he doesn't want a Mohawk anymore, he'll decide it is time to grow hair.  But the past 2 weeks the poor kid has been sick and teething.  And by sick I mean awful chesty cough that sounds like his lungs are coming up.  The teething part is what threw Kurtis and I off.  He has had this little white bump for several months but finally about a month ago, something decided to poke through.  So, when Cohen finally let us feel his gums (on his time of course) we could tell there were what we thought 2 little teefers popping through.  Well, since he won't let me look or touch it, I didn't realize that it wasn't just 1 toof.  Nope, not just 2 teef.  And not even 3 teef.  The kid decided (on Cohen Time nonetheless) that he was going to break 4 teefers out on the bottom.  He was eating little Puffs and when he started to chew I freaked out because I saw all 4 teef popped through the skin.  But of course, that is Cohen for you.  The kid amazes me at how he grows and what he does every day.  There is now 1 popping down at the top.  But who knows?  With Cohen, 3 others will magically appear.  I have tried everyday with all my power and might to get a picture of these 4 little teef, but you have to remember who we are talking about here.  I'll get a picture of these teef when Cohen is ready -- on Cohen Time.

Perfect example of Cohen Time.
"I'll give you this card Mom when I'm done chewing it.  That will be on my time of course."
